SAMOSA - SNACKS - Recipe Preparation


Samosa orginally came from the Middle East and Central Asia. Then it was prevailed to Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and everywhere by gradually. History of Samosa and its diversities consist a family of pastries and drastic popular from north-eastern Africa to western China to the existing world.
 Ingredients Needments(10 Servings)
4 Cups of Flour. 
2 Teaspoonfull of  Coriander Powder.
1 Teaspoonfull of Garam Masala Powder.
4 Cups of Flour.
2 Teaspoonfull  of Carom Seeds
4 tablespoonfull of  Ghee
Salt as per Taste.
4 Boiled Potatoes
2 Cups of Peas
2 Green  Chillis
2 Inches of  Ginger
5 Cloves and 5 Small Pieces of Garlics
2 Teaspoonfull of Cumin Seeds
2 Teaspoonfull of Red Chilli powder
Black Pepper as Required or Cayenne Pepper Some Pieces
2 Teaspoonfull of Dry Mango Powder
1 Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
1 Teaspoon of Turmeric
2 Cups of  Refined Oil
SAMOSA Recipe Procedures. 
Step 1  - Prepare The Masala For Potato Filling
To start up with,  prepp the all recipe ingredients for samosa, then place a pan on medium fire flame and pour oil and shake the pan that oil can be spread. When pan looks heated then sprinkle cumin seeds and once the seeds start changing colou , looks brownish, immediately add garlic, ginger and green chili paste and salt as per your taste.
Step 2  - Add Spices,  Boiled Potatoes and let them to be cooked properly.
Then, mix up dry mango powder, coriander powder, coriander leaves, garam masala along with turmeric and red chili powde as mentioned above in the list.  Keep stirring the mixture for a while. Next,  mix up  boiled potatoes and stir it again. With the help of the back of a spoon, mash it up the entire mixture altogether.
Step 3  - Prepare The Dough For The Samosa
To  prepare the dough, take a large shallow container and blend them in the measured flour along with cumin seeds, salt and black pepper according to your taste. Then, add ghee and start kneading. Make sure the dough turns out to be somewhat firm in its texture. Cover the dough with a muslin/ cotton cloth and keep in the clean container  for half an hour.
Step 4  - Roll The Dough In Small Puris And Cut Into Half
Once done, roll out few small-sized balls from the dough. Flatten them further with the help of your palms and then with a rolling pin. Give them a round shape and cut it in half. Now dipping your hands in water, fold the edges of the semi-circle in order to give it a cone shape.
Step 5 - Fill The Semi-Circle With Potato Filling And Deep Fry
Take the filling and stuff the prepared mixture in it. Seal the ends properly by pressing the edges lightly with your fingers. Then, heat oil in a pan and deep fry the samosas until they turn golden brown and crispy enough. Serve with any dip of your choice. Enjoy it as a tea-time snack.
