Smartfon Samsung Galaxy S23 is better selling than Galaxy S22
A lot can happen in nine months (just ask your mom if you don't believe it), and for the Galaxy S23 series, the last nine months have been great.
The report shows that in the nine months since launch, the combined sales of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra are 23% higher than the Galaxy S22 series (via SamMobile). Could this be a direct result of Samsung's decision to power all Galaxy S23 series devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2? Whatever the reason, the convergence of the Galaxy S23 naming and numbers in the 23% higher results is absurd.
Within nine months of its launch, the Galaxy S23 line sold 25.06 million units, while in the same period of 2022, Galaxy S22 devices exceeded the 20.32 million mark - that is, almost 5 million phones less.
Which model sold the best?
Of the three Galaxy S23 devices, the Galaxy S23 Ultra Champion was the best-selling model in the lineup: 11.63 million units sold! The silver medal went to the vanilla Galaxy S23, which sold 8.91 million units, and ultimately the least sold was the Galaxy S23+: sales reached 4.52 million units.
What about foldables?
Three months after launch, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 sold 4.86 million phones. This represents an increase of 4% compared to the same period from 2022 for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. Over 3.08 million Galaxy Z Flip 5 were sold, while the Galaxy Z Fold 5 reached 1.79 million. In comparison, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 sales were 2.87 million and 1.81 million units, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
